Work setting: Employer’s home, Work in employer’s/client’s home, Urban area, Relocation costs covered by employer, Willing to relocate
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the Bilingual Language
Asset languages: Swahii
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualifications
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 3 years to less than 5 years
Security and safety: Child Abuse Registry check, Child welfare check, Criminal record check, Driver’s validity licence check, Driving record check (abstract), Drug test, Reference required, Vulnerable sector check
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be physically demanding, and a repetitive tasker
- The candidates should be able to work with attention to detail
- The candidates should be able to handle weight Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
- The candidates should be willing to for overtime
- The candidates should be able to handle heavy loads
- The candidates should be able to work in scent free, and non-smoking area
Other Requirements:
- The candidate should be client focus, organized, initiative, flexible, reliable, and judgmental
- The candidates should have time management, excellent oral communication, excellent written communication, efficient interpersonal skills, and be able to work as a team player
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorized (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents, perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, shop for food and household supplies
- The candidates should be able to wash, iron and press clothing and household linens, travel with family on trips and assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties, care for pets
- The candidates should be able to bathe, dress and feed infants and children, discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents
- The candidates should be able to instruct children in personal hygiene and social development, maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home
- The candidates should be able to keep records of daily activities and health information regarding children, organize, activities such as games and outings for children, prepare and serve nutritious meals
- The candidates should be able to prepare infants and children for rest periods, sterilize bottles, prepare formulas and change diapers for infants, supervise and care for children
- The candidates should be able to take children to and from school and to appointments, tend to emotional well-being of children, help children with homework
