Tiny Hoppers Park Lawn based in Etobicoke, ON is inviting applications from suitable candidates for the position of Registered early childhood educator (RECE). Tiny Hoppers Park Lawn is a premier childcare center dedicated to nurturing young minds in a safe and stimulating environment. With a focus on early childhood education, the center offers comprehensive programs tailored to the developmental needs of children from infancy to preschool age. Utilizing a play-based curriculum and incorporating elements of STEM education, language development, and creative arts, Tiny Hoppers Park Lawn fosters a love for learning and exploration in every child. The candidates selected for the vacancy will be required to start the work as soon as possible.

Salary: $20.00 hourly for 30 to 40 hours per week

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 7 months to less than 1 year
Credentials: Member of the College of Early Childhood Educators (CECE)
Security and safety: Criminal record check, and Vulnerable sector check

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be capable of bending, crouching, and kneeling as required for the job

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should be punctual and team players

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
  • If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to develop and implement child-care programs that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children and plan and maintain an environment that protects the health, security, and well-being of children
  • The candidates should be able to lead activities by telling or reading stories, teaching songs, and taking children to local points of interest and guide and assist children in the development of proper eating, dressing, and toilet habits
  • The candidates should be able to establish and maintain collaborative relationships with co-workers and community service providers working with children
