Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in early childhood education and teaching
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Credentials: Emergency child care first aid and CPR, Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate, First Aid Certificate, and CPR Certificate
Security and safety: Vulnerable sector check

• The candidates should be dependable and possess efficient interpersonal skills with excellent oral communication
• The candidates should demonstrate interpersonal awareness, reliability, and uphold values and ethics

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to assess children’s development to prepare tailored learning plans and develop child-care programs supporting physical, cognitive, emotional, and social growth
• The candidates should be able to maintain daycare equipment, lead activities, and encourage creativity through various media
• The candidates should be able to guide children in eating, dressing, and toilet habits and prepare snacks and arrange rooms for lunch and rest periods
• The candidates should observe children for potential learning or behavioral issues, prepare reports, and discuss progress at staff meetings
• The candidates should establish guidelines for behavior, attend meetings to discuss children’s progress and problems, and maintain collaborative relationships with co-workers and community service providers
• The candidates should plan and maintain environments ensuring the health, security, and well-being of children
