Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have standard educational qualifications such as MBA, or CPA
Experience: Candidates should have 4+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controller ship with measurable results experience

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should have 3+ years of experience in tax, finance, or a related analytical field and demonstrate 4+ years of Accounts Receivable or Account Payable experience
  • The candidates should possess 4+ years of experience applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses
  • The candidates should have 4+ years of experience in creating process improvements with automation and analysis
  • The candidates should have demonstrated an ability to influence business owners, support thoughtful decision-making, and adapt to a rapidly evolving environment
  • The candidates should showcase 4+ years of experience in identifying, leading, and executing opportunities to improve, automate, standardize, or simplify finance or business tools and processes and have 3+ years of experience in finance or a related analytical field
  • The candidates should hold a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, statistics, or business, or a Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of experience in a quantitative role (engineering, process re-engineering, quality assurance)
  • The candidates should be a Six Sigma Black Belt, knowledge of Tableau and have experience with advanced use of SQL for data mining and business intelligence
  • The candidates should have experience as a lean sensei or experience working as a Quality Assurance Engineer
  • The candidates should demonstrate experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to utilize solid financial knowledge and business acumen to build financial models, interoperate data, draw conclusions, and make recommendations that deliver results, drive improvements, and influence leaders throughout Amazon which may have global impact
  • The candidates should be able to be responsible for delivering weekly/monthly financial close, planning, forecasting, budgeting, and consolidations utilizing financial systems and advance excel functions
  • The candidates should be able to create effective business partnership, manage competing priorities, and provide guidance during unexpected events
  • The candidates should be able to intuitively utilize active listening skills to communicate data (both written and verbal) in a clear, concise, and unambiguous manner, adjusting their style based on the audience, to articulate complex finance issues
  • The candidates should be able to collect and analyze quantitative data to develop relevant reports leading to cost reductions
  • The candidates should be able to manage a direct report and take part in hiring, developing, and mentoring activities while seeking value and leveraging diverse perspectives
  • The candidates should be able to proactively identify opportunities to resolve finance defects and improve, scale, or simplify finance tools across teams and organizations
  • The candidates should be able to contribute to work-life harmony by becoming a positive, collaborative, and effective influencer to new team members as an indicator of operations excellence
