Work setting: Urban area and Work in employer’s/client’s home
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be non-smoking and capable of handling physically demanding tasks
- The candidates should be proficient in performing repetitive tasks and capable of lifting up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs)
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should be flexible in their approach and proactive, showing initiative
- The candidates should be organized in their work and reliable in meeting commitments
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to assume full responsibility for the household in the absence of parents and perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
- The candidates should be able to wash, iron, and press clothing and household linens and discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents
- The candidates should be able to instruct children in personal hygiene and social development, keep records of daily activities and health information regarding children, and maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home
- The candidates should be able to organize activities such as games and outings for children, prepare and serve nutritious meals, and supervise and care for children, tending to their emotional well-being
