Salary: $23.00 hourly for 40 hours per week

Shifts: Day, Weekend
Transportation information: Own transportation
Work setting: Various locations and Landscape maintenance

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 7 months to less than 1 year
Equipment and machinery experience: Tractor mower, and Weed trimmer/edger
Own tools/equipment: Mask, and Cellular phone

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be comfortable working outdoors and able to work effectively in noisy environments
  • The candidates should be tolerant of various odors and able to work in dusty conditions.
  • The candidates should be able to work in hot temperatures
  • The candidates should be able to weed, prune, and trim trees and plants, cut grass, and rake and collect refuse
  • The candidates should be able to remove litter and garbage, cart and spread topsoil and other materials, and lay sod or seed
  • The candidates should be able to plant bulbs, flowers, shrubs, and trees, and apply fertilizers

Candidate Status:

  • Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position
  • International Candidates who don’t have a valid Canadian work permit also can apply

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to weed, prune, and trim trees and plants
  • The candidates should be able to cut grass, rake and collect refuse
