Salary: $18.00 to $22.00 hourly (To be negotiated) for 40 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time
Location: Elmwood, ON
Transportation information: Own transportation, and Valid driver’s licence
Requirements:
Languages:Â Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be physically fit to meet the demands of a physically demanding job, capable of efficiently performing repetitive tasks, and able to handle heavy loads
- The candidates should demonstrate attention to detail in their work, exhibit hand-eye coordination, and be comfortable standing for extended periods
- The candidates should be able to work independently, comfortable with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, and able to handle weights of up to 45 kg (100 lbs)
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should prioritize punctuality in their work and exhibit dependability in fulfilling their duties
- The candidates should possess efficient interpersonal skills for effective communication and demonstrate excellent oral communication abilities
- The candidates should display flexibility in their work approach and show initiative in taking proactive steps to accomplish tasks
- The candidates should demonstrate reliability in meeting deadlines and commitments and be team players, capable of collaborating effectively with others
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to transport raw materials, finished products, and equipment throughout the plant manually or using powered equipment, and assist machine operators, assemblers, and other workers
- The candidates should be able to check and weigh materials and products, sort, pack, crate, and package materials and products, and perform other laboring and elemental activities
- The candidates should be able to clean machines and immediate work areas
