Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to bring clean dishes, flatware, and other items to serving areas, set tables, and clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs
- The candidates should be able to operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware, and sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand, including scouring pots and pans
- The candidates should be able to place dishes in the storage area, keep records of food quantities used, package take-out food, portion and wrap foods, and prepare, heat, and finish simple food items
- The candidates should be able to serve customers at counters or buffet tables, take customers’ orders, and clean and sanitize the kitchen, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment
- The candidates should be able to receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas, remove kitchen garbage and trash, and sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors
