Position: Labourer – food and beverage processing
No of Vacancies: 1
Salary: $15.00 to $20.00 hourly (To be negotiated) for 40 to 44 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time
Location: Calgary, AB
Shifts: Day, Early Morning, Morning, 06:00 to 15:30
Work setting: Meat processing and/or packing plant/establishment
Requirements:
Languages:Â Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Asset languages: Mandarin, and Cantonese
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work in hot conditions and be comfortable in wet/damp environments
- The candidates should be capable of handling repetitive tasks efficiently and demonstrate attention to detail
- The candidates should be able to bend, crouch, and kneel as needed, and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- The candidates should be physically fit for demanding tasks and able to handle weights up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs) and 23 kg (50 lbs) respectively
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should demonstrate reliability and be team players, capable of collaborating effectively with colleagues
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to demonstrate food safety and handling skills, feed, and unload processing machines, and clean machines and immediate work areas
