Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided

Physical Requirements:

The candidates should be experienced in fruit and vegetable combination farming and adaptable to working in all weather conditions
The candidates should be comfortable working in hot conditions and willing to work in dusty and noisy surroundings
The candidates should be able to work in dusty environments and willing to work in dirty environments
The candidates should be able to work independently and manage a large workload efficiently
The candidates should be capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment and able to work effectively under pressure
The candidates should be willing to perform repetitive tasks and demonstrate meticulous attention to detail in their work
The candidates should be physically fit for demanding tasks and able to handle heavy loads, including weights up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
The candidates should be able to meet tight deadlines and stand for extended periods, comfortable with bending, crouching, and kneeling as necessary
The candidates should have the ability to distinguish between colors if required and be adaptable to a combination of sitting, standing, and walking

Candidate Status:

Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:

The candidates should be able to apply fertilizers accurately and effectively and mix fertilizers accurately for application
The candidates should be able to apply the technique of hoeing between rows for weed control and maintain crop health
The candidates should be able to bud trees using appropriate methods and shear and shape trees and plants with a knife to maintain desired form and structure
The candidates should be able to clean crops thoroughly to remove debris and ensure quality and clean the work area regularly to ensure cleanliness and safety
The candidates should be able to clear fields of wood and stones to prepare for planting and level earth to fine grade specifications for planting
The candidates should be able to cut agricultural crops according to farm standards for harvesting and pick row and orchard crops efficiently during harvest
The candidates should be able to cut agricultural seeds according to farm standards for planting and plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops according to agricultural practices
The candidates should be able to deleaf plants as needed for optimal growth and development and tie and secure plants as needed for support and growth
The candidates should be able to divide freshly harvested produce into marketable and non-marketable lots efficiently and sort fruits and vegetables based on quality standards
The candidates should be able to dose water saturation, light, and temperature as instructed for crop growth and development and train trees to produce more fruit of higher quality using appropriate techniques
The candidates should be able to grade vegetables and fruits into different grades based on size, shape, color, and volume to fetch higher prices in the market and sort and pack fruits and vegetables efficiently for market distribution
The candidates should be able to guide growing shoots into optimal development positions for healthy growth and harvest crops effectively and assess their readiness for the market
The candidates should be able to mix fertilizers accurately for application and fertilize and spray crops accurately and safely
The candidates should be able to pack fruits and vegetables carefully for transportation and sale and load, unload, and transfer crates, supplies, farm produce, livestock, and poultry safely and efficiently
The candidates should be able to operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment properly and examine products for quality and readiness for the market accurately and consistently
The candidates should be able to shear and shape trees and plants with a knife to maintain desired form and structure and weed fields to remove unwanted plants and maintain crop health
