Salary: $24.00 hourly for 40 hours per week

Shifts: Day, Evening, Morning
Transportation information: Own transportation and willing to travel regularly
Work setting: Urban area, willing to relocate, and construction site

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 3 to less than 5 years
Construction specialization: Driveways, industrial, Commercial and Institutional, residential, and Poured concrete
Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots, hard hat, and safety glasses/goggles
Security and safety: Criminal record check

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be comfortable working outdoors and able to work in noisy environments, aware of and able to handle dangerous situations
  • The candidates should be prepared to work in dusty conditions and capable of working in cold or refrigerated environments, as well as in hot conditions
  • The candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment, capable of working under pressure, and physically fit for demanding tasks, meeting tight deadlines comfortably with attention to detail
  • The candidates should be comfortable with repetitive tasks, skilled in handling heavy loads, and possess good hand-eye coordination with the capability of sound discrimination
  • The candidates should be experienced in weight handling, lifting up to 45 kg (100 lbs)

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
  • If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to load, unload, and transport construction materials, erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades
  • The candidates should be able to mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt, and perform routine maintenance work
