Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years
Credentials: Pharmacy technician Certification

Responsibilities:

The candidates should be able to set up and dismantle equipment, clean and maintain equipment, and prepare and maintain equipment and supplies
The candidates should be able to supervise and direct activities of other medical technologists or technicians, help with scheduling and workflow, and organize and maintain inventory
The candidates should be able to apply and adjust casts, splints, and bandages, and advise patients in the use and care of prostheses and orthoses
The candidates should be able to compound, package, and label pharmaceutical products, and compound oral solutions, ointments, and creams
The candidates should be able to maintain inventories of medications and prescription records of pharmaceutical products, and advise patients on loss of depth perception
