Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have completion of post-secondary education
Experience: Candidates should have over four years of previous transit related experience

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, video surveillance software, GPS equipment, and related business or transportation software
  • The candidates should have demonstrate proven written, verbal, and computer skills, coupled with excellent customer service skills
  • The candidates should hold a valid ‘G’ Ontario Driver’s license in good standing. A ‘CZ license and including supervisory experience
  • The candidates should possess the ability and skill to perform the duties of the position within a reasonable time and varying hours throughout the work week
  • The candidates should have knowledge and experience with Transit Planning

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to oversee the daily, weekly, and monthly administration and supervision of the Brantford Transit Bus Terminal
  • The candidates should be able to collaborate with transit inspection staff, inter-city staff, and transit operators to ensure smooth operations
  • The candidates should be able to update ridership statistics and maintain records for service review update reports
  • The candidates should be able to ensure adherence to Performance Standards and analyze Revenue to cost performance for the transit system
  • The candidates should be able to plan routes, manage bus stop inventory, and develop a replacement schedule
  • The candidates should be able to ensure compliance with the Ontario Disabilities Act and address customer service-related complaints and suggestions
  • The candidates should be able to administer the collective agreement with transit staff and oversee cash control procedures for transit-related matters
