Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Area of specialization: Industrial, commercial and institutional, Residential
Equipment and machinery experience: Concrete vibrators, Screeds, Reciprocating saws, Circular saws, Concrete saws, Mortar and concrete mixers, Pumpcretes, Grinding machine, Grouting machine, Chippers, Jackhammers, Air compressors, Air guns, Nail guns, Drills, Trampers (Jumping Jack), Compactor, Sledgehammer

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates should be able to work in a work site environment, outdoors, and at heights
• The candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment, meet tight deadlines, and perform repetitive tasks
• The candidates should be capable of performing physically demanding tasks, handling heavy loads, and managing weights up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
• The candidates should have manual dexterity and be capable of weight handling

• The candidates should possess efficient interpersonal skills, exhibit flexibility, and display reliability
• The candidates should be a team player

Candidate Status:

• Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to load, unload, and transport construction materials, erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades, and mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt
• The candidates should be able to assist in aligning pipes during pipeline construction, assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs, and level earth to fine grade specifications
• The candidates should be able to clean and pile salvaged materials and remove rubble and other debris at construction sites
