Salary: $18.00 hourly for 30 to 40 hours per week

Shifts: Day, Evening, Weekend, Flexible Hours, Early Morning, Morning
Transportation information: Public transportation is available and Willing to travel regularly
Work setting: Employer’s home, Staff accommodation provided, and Willing to relocate
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the Bilingual Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 2 to less than 3 years
Credentials: CPR Certificate and First Aid Certificate
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be non-smoking and comfortable working in a scent-free environment
- The candidates should be available for overtime as required and be proficient in weight handling
- The candidates should be able to handle weights up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should have efficient interpersonal skills, demonstrate initiative, and have good judgment
- The candidates should be organized, reliable, and flexible
- The candidates should have strong time management skills, be patient, and be honest
Candidate Status:
- Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position
- International Candidates who don’t have a valid Canadian work permit also can apply
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to change diapers, perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, and travel with the family on trips to assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties
- The candidates should be able to wash, iron, and press clothing and household linens, bathe, dress, and feed infants and children, and discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents
- The candidates should be able to keep records of daily activities and health information regarding children, maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home, and organize activities such as games and outings for children
- The candidates should be able to prepare and serve nutritious meals, supervise and care for children, and take children to and from school and appointments
- The candidates should be able to help children with homework and cook
