Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have completion of certification from a SK Health approved care aide or assistant course
Experience: Candidates should have considerable experience in the relevant field

Other Requirements:

• The candidates should have TLR and GPA certification and possess a clear criminal record or vulnerable sector search
• The candidates should have English language proficiency to communicate effectively with residents

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to work within a multidisciplinary team where the resident directs the daily schedule
• The candidates should be able to provide physical care to residents to meet their daily needs and help them function at the highest possible level
• The candidates should be able to act as the resident’s closest advocate in the household, under the leadership of a professional nurse
• The candidates should be able to promote residents’ psychosocial well-being through meaningful relationship building
• The candidates should be able to work with the household team to meet the social service needs of both the resident and the household
