Work setting: Employer’s home, optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis, and note: This is NOT a condition of employment

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 7 months 
Security and safety: Vulnerable sector check

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates should be non-smoking

Other Requirements:

• The candidates should be flexible, have initiative, and be organized
• The candidates should be reliable, a team player, and have patience
• The candidates should be honest

Candidate Status:

• Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
• Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
• If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to assume full responsibility for the household in the absence of parents, perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, and shop for food and household supplies
• The candidates should be able to wash, iron, and press clothing and household linens, bathe, dress, and feed infants and children, and keep records of daily activities and health information regarding children
• The candidates should be able to maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home, organize activities such as games and outings for children, and prepare and serve nutritious meals
• The candidates should be able to prepare infants and children for rest periods, supervise and care for children, and take children to and from school and appointments
• The candidates should be able to tend to the emotional well-being of children
