Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education:Â Candidates should have completion of hold an industry-recognizable IS security certification CISSP
Experience: Candidates should have 3+ years of experience in the cryptography domain
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should be familiar with technologies and security controls for the protection of data at rest and data in transit and in-depth knowledge of PCI DSS requirements for data protection
- The candidates should understand and navigate NIST 800-Series Special Publications in respect to cryptography and FIPS 140-3 certification levels for cryptographic modules
- The candidates should possess in-depth knowledge of various cryptographic and encryption technologies and standards, including symmetric or asymmetric cryptography, PKI, digital signing, and hashing
- The candidates should understand the principles of post-quantum cryptography and its standardization and experience with cryptography as it applies to cloud solutions in highly virtualized environments
- The candidates should have working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite for developing presentation decks, design documentation, drawings, and reports and translate complex technical concepts to values and outcomes for communication with senior leadership and non-technical business partners
- The candidates should have strong verbal and written communication skills, which are essential for this role and working knowledge of mainframe cryptography and mainframe HSM, which is a plus and expertise in either Windows/Unix/Linux databases (including MS SQL, Oracle, MongoDB) or storage (SAN, NAS)
- The candidates should have experience with data protection against ransomware, which is a plus and employment experience in the financial industry, which is a plus
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to ensure cryptographic protection of data at rest and data in transit
- The candidates should be able to oversee cryptography governance, including policies, procedures, standards, and guides
- The candidates should be able to implement database transparent data encryption (TDE) and encryption in transit
- The candidates should be able to protect data in public cloud environments such as Azure and Google Cloud
- The candidates should be able to utilize Thales Vormetric/CipherTrust for data at rest encryption
- The candidates should be able to manage hardware security modules (HSM) from Thales, Entrust, Utimaco, and Atalla
- The candidates should be able to manage PKI, including x509 digital certificates, SSH, Microsoft ADCS, and TLS ciphers
- The candidates should be able to handle key lifecycle management for symmetric and asymmetric keys
- The candidates should be able to explore and implement post-quantum cryptography solutions and use cryptographic tools like Venafi
