Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have completion of certification in ski mounting, torque testing, and DIN settings
Experience: Candidates should have considerable experience in the relevant field

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be able to work a flexible schedule, including holidays and weekends
  • The candidates should be able to work near moving mechanical parts, and occasionally be exposed to fumes, airborne particles, and toxic or caustic chemicals and handle a loud noise level in the work environment
  • The candidates should be able to frequently lift and move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and move up to 50 pounds
  • The candidates should have specific vision abilities, including close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
  • The candidates should be able to regularly stand walk use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms, and occasionally stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl when maintaining and tuning equipment

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should have basic knowledge of ski and snowboard maintenance and tuning edging, base repair, and hot waxing
  • The candidates should have completed courses in Wintersteiger equipment use and maintenance and knowledge of ski and snowboard construction and epoxy

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to receive and sort incoming skis and snowboards according to established protocol
  • The candidates should be able to tune and repair skis and snowboards, finishing with the Wintersteiger tune machine for final stone structure and edge polishing
  • The candidates should be able to inspect the finished product and ensure it meets the quality standards established by the RRR Manager
  • The candidates should be able to properly organize the finished product to ensure accurate and timely delivery
  • The candidates should be able to clean and maintain machines, workspace, and hand tools at the end of each day
  • The candidates should be able to perform closing procedures outlined by the RRR Manager and ready the shop for the next day and assist the RRR Manager with any additional duties
