Salary: $40.00 to $55.00 hourly (To be negotiated) for 10 to 30 hours per week

Requirements:
Languages:Â Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as other trades certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 2 to less than 3 years
Diesel engine repair specialization: Fuel injection system, exhaust system, cooling system, air conditioning system, lubrication system, and engine control system
Credentials: Commercial Vehicle Inspection Certificate

- The candidates should be accurate in their work, ensuring high precision and minimal errors while demonstrating dependability and consistently performing their duties and fulfilling responsibilities

Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to instruct apprentices and troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions. They should also be able to diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment to determine the extent of repair required
- The candidates should be able to order parts, maintain inventory, and adjust equipment, repairing or replacing defective parts as necessary. They should also keep maintenance reports and documentation
- The candidates should be able to test repaired equipment for proper performance, ensuring that work meets manufacturers’ specifications. They should be able to clean, lubricate, and perform other maintenance work
- The candidates should be able to perform repair work on heavy trucks, service attachments and working tools, and verify and repair emission control systems Additionally, they should assist process and machine operators in mineral ore and metal processing and perform other routine maintenance tasks
