Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 7 months
Security and safety: Criminal record check

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates should be able to bend, crouch, and kneel as required and should be able to handle physically demanding tasks
• The candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be capable of handling heavy loads
• The candidates should be willing to work overtime as required and be able to work under pressure
• The candidates should be able to stand for extended periods and be experienced in weight handling
• The candidates should be able to lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs)

• The candidates should have excellent oral communication skills and be flexible

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to address customers’ complaints or concerns effectively
• The candidates should be able to prepare and serve specialty food at customers’ tables
• The candidates should be able to present bills to customers and accept payments in cash, credit or debit cards, travelers’ cheques, or room billings
• The candidates should be able to describe menu items, including daily specials, and advise on menu selections
• The candidates should be able to balance cash and record sales accurately
• The candidates should be able to clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs
• The candidates should be able to greet patrons, present menus, make recommendations, and answer questions regarding food and beverages
• The candidates should be able to serve food and beverages
• The candidates should be able to take orders and relay them to kitchen and bar staff
• The candidates should be able to assist clients/guests with special needs
• The candidates should be able to provide excellent customer service
