Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have completion of High School diploma
Experience: Candidates should have at least one year of retail management experience

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should have the ability to multi-task, perform repeated bending, standing, and reaching, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
  • The candidates should have the ability to oversee and implement all merchandising and marketing programs
  • The candidates should have a demonstrated ability to use P&L and store reports to affect change

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should have the ability to oversee and provide customer service leadership, training, and coaching for all store employees
  • The candidates should have a desire to maintain high retention by focusing on identifying qualified applicants, developing leaders, empowering employees, and encouraging employee productivity
  • The candidates should have the ability to manage cash handling, fuel transactions, and promotion of the 7Rewards loyalty program
  • The candidates should have a demonstrated ability to maintain a clean, safe environment by complying with applicable laws and requirements relating to food safety
  • The candidates should have excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills and ensure the store is presentable and that all products are in stock
  • The candidates should have proficient computer knowledge, with a preference for Microsoft products such as Word and Excel and a GED (preferred but not required for those with)
  • The candidates should have a valid driver’s license from the province of residence and maintain automobile liability insurance during employment
