Salary: $28.40 hourly for 35 to 40 hours per week

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 7 months to less than 1 year

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
  • If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to interpret welding process specifications
  • The candidates should be able to operate manual, semi-automatic, and fully automated welding equipment
  • The candidates should be able to read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings, specifications, manuals, and processes
  • The candidates should be able to examine welds and ensure they meet standards and specifications
  • The candidates should be able to operate manual, semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment, brakes, shears, and other metal shaping, straightening, and bending machines
  • The candidates should be able to fit, braze, and torch-straighten metal
  • The candidates should be able to determine the weldability of materials
  • The candidates should be able to operate hoisting and lifting equipment, previously set-up welding machines, and brazing or soldering machines to bond metal or fill holes, indentations, and seams of metal
  • The candidates should be able to start up, shut down, adjust, and monitor robotic welding production lines
  • The candidates should be able to maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing, and soldering equipment
