Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have completion of a minimum Grade 12 diploma
Experience: Candidates should have experience as a station attendant

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates should be physically fit, able to bend, kneel, crawl, stoop, climb, and lift up to 70 pounds repetitively
• The candidates should be Canadian citizens, Permanent Residents, or able to show proof of the right to work in Canada and work outside in all climatic conditions

Other Requirements:

• The candidates should maintain a valid Class 5 Driver’s License with a clean abstract and successfully complete all initial and recurrent training or aviation experience

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to oversee and participate in safe and efficient ground operation activities, including reservations, passenger service (check-in), cargo, and ramp activities
• The candidates should be able to conduct regular assessments of the operation, including maintenance of facilities and equipment
• The candidates should be able to ensure the highest level of customer service is provided at all times
• The candidates should be able to prepare station reports daily, weekly, and monthly and authorize the acceptance of Dangerous Goods
• The candidates should be able to troubleshoot IROP (Irregular Operations) activities and maintain staff schedules
• The candidates should be able to ensure compliance with policies and procedures of Transport Canada, Navigation Canada, YG Aviation Branch, and Air North, Yukon’s Airline
• The candidates should be able to ensure all staff successfully complete and maintain all training and certifications and act as the direct point of contact
