Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English and French Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have considerable experience in the relevant field
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should have a minimum cargo capacity of 50 cu ft (1415 liters) and a vehicle with an automatic transmission and power windows in the vehicle
- The candidates should ensure that the middle of the passenger window sill is between 38” and 45” from the ground, and the vehicle should have a maximum interior width of 56”
- The candidates should have a fifth door or hatchback to allow for oversized and bulky items to be loaded
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should have a metal roof-top and accessory power outlet to accommodate a Canada Post sign and flashing light
- The candidates should provide and maintain the required automobile liability insurance for the use of their vehicle
- The candidates should notify their insurance company about the use of their vehicle while employed at Canada Post
- The candidates should have a satisfactory safe driving record and possess a valid permanent provincial driver’s license
