Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years
Security and safety: Criminal record check

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates should be able to bend, crouch, and kneel, work in a fast-paced environment, handle heavy loads, and be available for overtime as required
• The candidates should be able to perform physically demanding tasks, stand for extended periods, work under pressure, and lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs)

Other Requirements:

• The candidates should demonstrate client focus, possess efficient interpersonal skills, and have excellent oral communication skills
• The candidates should demonstrate flexibility, show initiative, be organized, demonstrate reliability, and be a team player

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to address customers’ complaints or concerns, and prepare and serve specialty food at customers’ tables
• The candidates should be able to present bills to customers and accept payment in cash, credit or debit cards, travelers’ cheques, or room billings
• The candidates should be able to describe menu items, including daily specials for customers, and advise on menu selections
• The candidates should be able to balance cash and record sales, and clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs
• The candidates should be able to greet patrons, present menus, make recommendations, and answer questions regarding food and beverages
• The candidates should be able to serve food and beverages, take orders, and relay them to kitchen and bar staff
• The candidates should be able to assist clients or guests with special needs and provide excellent customer service
