Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 7 months to less than 1 year
Credentials: AZ class license

Candidate Status:

Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position
International Candidates who don’t have a valid Canadian work permit also can apply

Responsibilities:

The candidates should be able to drive as part of a two-person team or convoy, load and unload goods, and operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
The candidates should be able to oversee the condition of the vehicle, inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment, and perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections while overseeing all aspects of the vehicle
The candidates should be able to perform brake adjustments, conduct emergency roadside repairs, and execute preventive maintenance on the vehicle
The candidates should be able to record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled, and fuel consumption, as well as pay and receive payments for goods
The candidates should be able to tarp and ensure the safety and security of cargo
