Salary: $19.00 hourly for 35 hours per week

Shifts: Day, Evening, Weekend, Shift, On Call, Flexible Hours, Morning
Requirements:
Languages:Â Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education:Â Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 7 months to less than 1 year
Target audience: elderly, females, persons with an intellectual disability, and persons with physical disabilities
Credentials: CPR Certificate, First aid certificate, and Personal support worker certificate
Security and safety: Criminal record check and reference required
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, adapt to a fast-paced environment, and work overtime as required
- The candidates should be able to handle physically demanding tasks, perform repetitive tasks, and work under pressure
- The candidates should be able to handle up to 9 kg (20 lbs)
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should be punctual, client-focused, and dependable
- The candidates should have efficient interpersonal skills, be flexible, and take initiative
- The candidates should have good judgment, be organized, and reliable
- The candidates should be a team player, patient, and honest
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to administer bedside and personal care, assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene, and assist in regular exercise, e.g., walk
- The candidates should be able to feed or assist in feeding, launder clothing and household linens, and perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
- The candidates should be able to plan therapeutic diets and menus, provide companionship, and provide personal care
- The candidates should be able to prepare and serve nutritious meals and cook
