Requirements:
Languages:Â Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to assist with cleaning, sterilizing, setting up, and assembling of medical equipment and assist with maintenance and repair of medical equipment
- The candidates should be able to perform other duties related to patient care and comfort and perform other duties related to personal care
- The candidates should be able to supply and empty bed pans and take patients’ blood pressure, temperature, and pulse
- The candidates should be able to weigh, lift, turn, and position patients and make beds and maintain patients’ rooms
- The candidates should be able to supervise patients’ exercise routines and administer suppositories, colonic irrigations, and enemas
- The candidates should be able to maintain inventory of supplies and transport patients between care facilities
- The candidates should be able to transport patients in a wheelchair or stretcher and answer call signals to determine patients’ needs
- The candidates should be able to collect specimens and administer first aid in emergency situations
