Salary: $43.00 to $49.00 hourly (To be negotiated) for 40 to 50 hours per week

Shifts: Day, Overtime, Flexible Hours, Morning
Transportation information: Own Vehicle, Willing to Travel, and Valid Driver’s Licence

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as other trades certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 2 years to less than 3 years
Credentials: Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) Trade Certification, Construction Millwright Trade Certification, and Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) Red Seal Endorsement

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be able to perform physically demanding tasks and pay attention to detail and bend, crouch, and kneel
  • The candidates should be able to work overtime

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
  • If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to assemble mechanical equipment and coach and instruct apprentices and detect and troubleshoot irregularities and malfunctions
  • The candidates should be able to read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine work requirements and repair or replace defective machinery parts and fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance or set-up
  • The candidates should be able to perform routine maintenance work on machinery and install machinery and equipment and operate hoisting and lifting equipment
  • The candidates should be able to commission systems and components
