Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have completion of a secondary education diploma
Experience: Candidates should have a minimum of two years of bouncer experience, preferably in a nightclub atmosphere
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to diffuse and handle volatile situations and intoxicated patrons effectively
- The candidates should have the physical ability to stand for up to 8 hours and carry up to 50 lbs
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to remove any person from the premises as required, ensuring safety and order at all times
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to deliver an “above and beyond” attitude to all guests, ensuring a friendly and welcoming atmosphere
- The candidates should be able to control the atmosphere and manage intoxication levels in the bar and ensure all patrons are of legal drinking age by requesting and inspecting identification
- The candidates should be able to remain vigilant for potential aggressive behavior from patrons and act accordingly and efficiently and professionally diffuse any fights or altercations as quickly as possible
- The candidates should be able to restrict or refuse admittance to intoxicated patrons, assist with bar setup and cleanup and adhere to safety and security procedures for the operation and resort
- The candidates should be able to handle ticket or cash transactions for special events and bands and control the number of patrons entering to stay within the liquor license limits
- The candidates should be able to do what is necessary to ensure the safety of guests and staff alike, work closely with resort security to maintain a fun, safe environment and assist with table maintenance and support bar staff
