Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have completion of a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science
Experience: Candidates should have 2+ years of technical engineering experience in coding languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be comfortable with ambiguity and working in a fast-paced, changing environment

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should be able to meet Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening requirements, including passing the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire and every two years thereafter
  • The candidates should have a passion for designing and building very large-scale distributed systems
  • The candidates should possess strong data analysis, problem-solving, and organizational skills and experience working with Kubernetes (a plus)
  • The candidates should have experience in building monitoring and analytics solutions and be driven to improve performance, availability, and supportability of services and systems
  • The candidates should have a drive to increase efficiency through automation and excellent cross-group collaboration, negotiation, and communication skills

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to own the design, development, and DevOps of observability infrastructure, ensuring high availability, scalability, and resiliency
  • The candidates should be able to have a customer-obsessed mindset, with the ability to analyze requirements and iterate over designs based on feedback
  • The candidates should be able to implement monitoring and analytics solutions that can be applied across multiple services
  • The candidates should be able to perform live site and DevOps engineering for services and infrastructure they own, with a focus on creating top-notch monitoring, dashboards, and troubleshooting guides (TSGs)
  • The candidates should be able to collaborate with diverse team members across different global locations
  • The candidates should be able to embody and promote the organization’s culture and values in all aspects of their work
