Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 7 months to less than 1 year
Area of specialization: Permaculture

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment, perform repetitive tasks, and work under pressure
• The candidates should be able to handle heavy loads, meet tight deadlines, and perform physically demanding tasks
• The candidates should be able to demonstrate hand-eye coordination, pay attention to detail, and stand for extended periods
• The candidates should be able to bend, crouch, kneel, and walk

Candidate Status:

• Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to apply the technique of hoeing between the row, clear and collect brush and debris from fields, pens and other work areas, and clear fields of wood and stones
• The candidates should be able to cut agricultural crops, guide growing shoots into optimal development positions, and maintain and manage growth of vines, vine canopy and grapes
• The candidates should be able to pick row and orchard crops, remove manually all suckers and water sprouts, and tie and secure plants
• The candidates should be able to weed, harvest crops, and cut horticultural crops
