Salary: $29.83 hourly for 32 to 40 hours per week

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Credentials: First Aid Certificate
Security and safety: Bondable and criminal record check

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates should be able to perform a combination of sitting, standing and walking and handle up to 23 kg (50 lbs)

Candidate Status:

• Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
• Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
• If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to accompany patients on outdoor recreational activities and perform other duties related to personal care
• The candidates should be able to supply and empty bed pans and take patients’ blood pressure, temperature and pulse
• The candidates should be able to serve meal trays and feed patients and make beds and maintain patients’ rooms
• The candidates should be able to bathe, dress and groom patients
