Job Description:

Salary: $34.62 hourly for 40 to 44 hours per week

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 7 months to less than 1 year

Responsibilities:

The candidates should be able to plan or adjust routes based on changing conditions, using computer equipment, global positioning systems (GPS) equipment, or other navigation devices, to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions, arrange travel, related itineraries, and make reservations, and drive as part of a two-person team or convoy
The candidates should be able to perform emergency roadside repairs, receive and relay information to central dispatch, and record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption
The candidates should be able to tarp and ensure the safety and security of cargo and transport and handle dangerous goods

Candidate Status:

Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
