Job Description:

Salary: $17.50 to $22.00 hourly (To be negotiated) for 35 to 60 hours per week
Employment Type: Seasonal employment Full time
Location: Dundas, ON
Shifts: Day, Weekend, Early Morning, Morning
Type of product: cut flowers

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment, perform repetitive tasks, and handle heavy loads
• The candidates should be able to perform physically demanding tasks, demonstrate hand-eye coordination, and distinguish between colours
• The candidates should be able to stand for extended periods, bend, crouch, and kneel, and lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)

Other Requirements:

• The candidates should possess efficient interpersonal skills, be flexible, and demonstrate reliability
• The candidates should work as a team player and uphold values and ethics

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to apply the technique of hoeing between the row, plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops, and harvest crops
• The candidates should be able to cut horticultural crops

Candidate Status:

• Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
• Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
• If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
