Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years 
Security and safety: Reference required

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates should be able to perform repetitive tasks, pay attention to detail, and lift between 45 and 60 kg (100-132 lbs)

Other Requirements:

• The candidates should be able to maintain client focus, demonstrate efficient interpersonal skills, and communicate excellently in oral and written form
• The candidates should be able to show flexibility, demonstrate initiative, exercise good judgement, and stay organized
• The candidates should be able to show reliability, work effectively as a team player, and manage time efficiently

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to assume full responsibility for the household in the absence of parents, perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, and travel with the family on trips while assisting with child supervision and housekeeping duties
• The candidates should be able to wash, iron and press clothing and household linens, bathe, dress and feed infants and children, and discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents
• The candidates should be able to instruct children in personal hygiene and social development, keep records of daily activities and health information regarding children, and maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home
• The candidates should be able to organize activities such as games and outings for children, prepare and serve nutritious meals, and prepare infants and children for rest periods
• The candidates should be able to supervise and care for children and tend to their emotional well-being

Candidate Status:

• Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
• Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
