Requirements:
Languages:Â Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as college, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should be dependable, reliable, and be able to work as a team player
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to develop and implement child-care programs that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children, lead activities such as storytelling, teaching songs, and organizing outings, and encourage creativity through art, dramatic play, music, and physical activity
- The candidates should be able to guide and assist children in developing proper eating, dressing, and toilet habits, observe for signs of potential learning or behavioural issues, prepare reports for parents, guardians, or supervisors, and establish and maintain collaborative relationships with co-workers and community service providers
- The candidates should be able to plan and maintain an environment that ensures the health, security, and well-being of children, plan and organize activities for school-age children before and after regular school hours
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
