Salary: $32.22 to $48.78 hourly (To be negotiated) for 60 to 75 hours bi-weekly
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time
Location: Norwood, ON
Shifts: Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Shift
Supervision: More than 20 people and Staff in various areas of responsibility

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as Bachelor’s degree
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Type of treatment experience: Pain management
Credentials: CPR Certificate and Licensure as a Registered Nurse by provincial or territorial authorities
Security and safety: Tuberculosis test and Vulnerable sector check

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates should be able to pay attention to detail, perform tasks that involve bending, crouching, and kneeling, and work in a fast-paced environment
• The candidates should be able to demonstrate manual dexterity, sit and stand for extended periods, and work under pressure

Other Requirements:

• The candidates should be able to complete tasks accurately, demonstrate client focus, and exhibit efficient interpersonal skills
• The candidates should be able to show flexibility in their work, take initiative, and exercise sound judgment
• The candidates should be able to stay organized, demonstrate reliability, and work as a team player
• The candidates should be able to manage time effectively

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to monitor patients, address and document symptoms, and advise physicians of any changes in patients’ conditions
• The candidates should be able to assess patients to identify appropriate nursing interventions and collaborate with an interdisciplinary health team to plan, implement, co-ordinate, and evaluate patient care in consultation with patients and their families
• The candidates should be able to conduct disease screening, deliver immunization programs, and dispense and administer medications and treatments as prescribed by a physician
• The candidates should be able to engage in research activities related to nursing, operate or monitor medical apparatus or equipment, and provide nursing care
• The candidates should be able to supervise licensed practical nurses and other nursing staff and perform administrative tasks
