Salary: $18.00 to $21.00 hourly (To be negotiated) for 30 to 48 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time
Location: Bala, ON
Shifts: Day, Weekend, Early Morning, Morning
Transportation information: Valid driver’s licence
Requirements:
Languages:Â Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education:Â Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years
Equipment and machinery experience: Weed trimmer/edger
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment, work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines
- The candidates should be able to perform repetitive tasks, handle heavy loads, and carry out physically demanding work
- The candidates should be able to demonstrate manual dexterity, maintain attention to detail, and have strong hand-eye coordination
- The candidates should be able to distinguish between colours, adapt to a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, and perform tasks requiring walking, bending, crouching, and kneeling
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should be client-focused, dependable, and possess efficient interpersonal skills
- The candidates should be flexible, organized, reliable, and a team player
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to assist with landscape constructions, weed, prune and trim trees and plants, and cut grass
- The candidates should be able to rake and collect refuse, remove litter and garbage, and cart and spread topsoil and other materials
- The candidates should be able to lay sod or seed, plant bulbs, flowers, shrubs and trees, and apply fertilizers
- The candidates should be able to water and tend to plants, lawns and/or gardens
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
