Salary: $28.50 hourly for 40 to 50 hours per week

Requirements:
Languages:Â Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education:Â Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Credentials:Â AZ class license and Air Brakes Endorsement
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work with attention to detail and handle physically demanding tasks
Other Requirements:
- The candidate should be flexible, exercise good judgement, and be organized
- The candidate should be reliable and be a team player
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials and oversee the condition of the vehicle by inspecting tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment
- The candidates should be able to perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections and oversee all aspects of the vehicle while receiving and relaying information to central dispatch
Candidate Status:
- Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position
- International Candidates who don’t have a valid Canadian work permit also can apply
