Physio One Health Clinic based in Truro, NS is inviting applications from suitable candidates for the position of Physiotherapist. Physio One Health Clinic offers a range of rehabilitation services, including physiotherapy, massage therapy, concussion management, and pelvic floor physiotherapy. The clinic provides personalized treatment plans and offers direct billing for most insurance providers. Salary: $75,000 to $90,000 annually (To be negotiated) for 30 to 37.5 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment – Full time, On site
Location: Truro, NS
Shifts: Day, Evening, Morning
Work setting: Sports Therapy, Orthopedics, Chronic Care Therapy Center, Geriatrics, and Private Practice
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as Master’s degree
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Credentials: Licensure by provincial or territorial authorities
Security and safety: Eligible for professional liability insurance
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be comfortable with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, be able to work in a fast-paced environment, and be attentive to detail
- The candidates should be able to work under pressure
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should be punctual, and be client-focused
The candidates should have efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication skills, possess interpersonal awareness, and have good judgment
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to assess patients’ physical abilities, plan physiotherapy programs, and select appropriate exercises, apparatus, and manipulations
- The candidates should be able to maintain clinical and progress reports, confer with other health professionals, and teach and/or supervise exercises to patients
- The candidates should be able to administer evaluative tests and procedures
