Salary: $34.10 hourly for 40 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time
Location: Toronto, ON
Shifts: To be determined, Morning
Work setting: Willing to relocate and Relocation costs not covered by employer
Supervision: 3-4 people

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as other trades certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years
Computer and technology knowledge: MS Windows
Credentials: Safe Food Handling certificate

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment, work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • The candidates should be able to perform repetitive tasks, handle heavy loads and carry out physically demanding work
  • The candidates should be able to pay attention to detail, stand for extended periods and work independently

Other Requirements:

  • The candidate should be accurate, focus on the client, and be dependable
  • The candidate should demonstrate efficient interpersonal skills, exhibit excellent oral communication, and have excellent written communication skills
  • The candidate should be flexible, be organized, and be reliable
  • The candidate should be a team player and have the ability to multitask

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to evaluate, plan, and organize daily operations while setting staff work schedules and supervising staff
  • The candidates should be able to train staff, determine services to be offered, implement operational procedures, and enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations
  • The candidates should be able to organize and maintain inventory, ensure health and safety regulations are followed, and negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies
  • The candidates should be able to negotiate with clients for catering or facility use, participate in marketing plans and implementation, and lead/instruct individuals
  • The candidates should be able to address customers’ complaints or concerns, provide customer service, manage events, and plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations
