Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years
Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should have 20/20 vision or equivalent visual acuity, be attentive to detail, and possess strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity for precise tasks
- The candidates should be physically capable of handling demanding tasks, including lifting weight loads exceeding 45 kg (100 lbs), standing for extended periods, and working in a fast-paced environment
- The candidates should be comfortable with bending, crouching, and kneeling, working in noisy and dusty conditions, adhering to a non-smoking work environment, and operating in areas with various odours
Other Requirements:
The candidates should demonstrate flexibility in their tasks and schedule, be reliable, have good judgment, and be team players
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to add or replace hydraulic and transmission fluids, change engine oil, lubricate running gears or moving parts, and replace oil, air, and fuel filters on motor vehicles, trucks, and heavy equipment
- The candidates should be able to grease booms, pulleys, buckets, and other components of heavy equipment, install replacement mufflers, exhaust pipes, shock absorbers, or radiators, and repair and balance tires
- The candidates should be able to assist mechanics, perform other duties as directed, and provide on-site services
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
