Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to acknowledge all customers approaching the pharmacy and practice within federal and provincial regulatory and legal requirements
- The candidates should be able to ensure all privacy requirements are met, including customer confidentiality and consent management
- The candidates should be able to provide counseling on prescriptions, over-the-counter, and behind-the-counter products
- The candidates should be able to practice to the full extent of expanded scope with Professional Services, within their capability
- The candidates should be able to be clearly identifiable to the public and ensure the accuracy and appropriateness of all prescriptions dispensed
- The candidates should be able to communicate with other healthcare professionals within the circle of care to provide customer care
- The candidates should be able to maintain all records required in accordance with legislation, standards of practice, and policy
