Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Administration and Social Sciences
Experience: Candidates should have experience evaluating or researching programs, policies, and services

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should have experience collaborating with stakeholders, experience with qualitative and quantitative data collection methods
  • The candidates should have experience writing evaluation or research reports,  completed a Master’s Degree in Applied Psychological Science

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to develop and implement strategically focused evaluation activities that inform decision-making and accountability in the Department of Health and Community Services
  • The candidates should be able to collaborate with program areas to identify evaluation needs and provide expert evaluation advice and support to ensure alignment with organizational goals
  • The candidates should be able to work with internal and external partners and stakeholders to design, plan, and implement evaluations of programs, policies, and services, ensuring comprehensive and reliable assessments
  • The candidates should be able to prepare detailed evaluation reports that provide clear insights, recommendations, and actionable outcomes to support program and service improvements
  • The candidates should be able to ensure strategic investment by conducting evaluation activities that help achieve the best services and outcomes for clients across the province
  • The candidates should be able to prepare strategic documents, briefing notes, and other related materials, contributing to informed decision-making at senior levels
  • The candidates should be able to perform other related duties as required, demonstrating flexibility and responsiveness to the evolving needs of the department
