Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have completion of Bachelor’s degree
Experience: Candidates should have 2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should have 1 year of experience with an advanced degree in an industry setting
- The candidates should have 2 years of experience with data structures or algorithms in either an academic or industry setting
- The candidates should have a Master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical fields
- The candidates should have 2 years of experience with performance, large-scale systems data analysis, visualization tools, or debugging
- The candidates should have experience with the financial services industry and defining public schemas and interfaces that external customers interact with
- The candidates should have experience with Machine Learning, with a focus on its application
- The candidates should have experience building within Cloud environments, proficiency in code and system health, diagnosis and resolution, and software test engineering
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve customer-facing software for the financial services industry, ensuring secure, reliable, and available applications
- The candidates should be able to understand and apply security principles aligned with the financial services industry and Google Cloud to ensure compliance and data protection
- The candidates should be able to review code developed by other developers, providing feedback to ensure adherence to best practices, including style guidelines, accuracy, testability, and efficiency
- The candidates should be able to write product or system development code, contributing to the creation of high-quality software
- The candidates should be able to triage product or system issues, debug, track, and resolve them by analyzing the sources of issues and their impact on hardware, network, or service operations and quality
