Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have completion of post-secondary education
Experience: Candidates should have 1 to 2 years of sales experience

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be able to work independently, strong planning and time management skills
  • The candidates should have effective priority management skills, demonstrate excellent time management and planning skills
  • The candidates should have the ability to make informed decisions independently, show a willingness to succeed and exceed set goals

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should have excellent computer skills and the ability to use an iPad effectively
  • The candidates should possess a valid driver’s license and knowledge of Microsoft Office and consider bilingualism

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to maximize territory coverage in the assigned region, build strong and productive customer relationships
  • The candidates should be able to meet and exceed distribution goals, execute marketing initiatives with sound planning
  • The candidates should be able to lead merchandising and cross-promotion with other vendors and in-store departments, work with the sales team to ensure customer commitments are met
  • The candidates should be able to report territory activities to the District Manager in a timely manner, exceed shelf goals
  • The candidates should be able to plan the execution of all promotions, understand the financial implications of decisions made in the field
  • The candidates should be able to achieve personal goals set by the District Sales Manager, represent Maple Leaf Foods with the highest level of professionalism and integrity
