Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have completion of a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science
Experience: Candidates should have 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should have 3+ years of experience in software design or architecture, including design patterns, reliability, and system scalability
- The candidates should have experience programming with at least one modern software programming language
- The candidates should have 5+ years of experience with the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to demonstrate over 5 years of professional experience in full-stack development
- The candidates should be able to rapidly prototype solutions and adapt based on customer feedback
- The candidates should be able to build and deliver front-end features successfully for mobile applications
- The candidates should be able to apply a wide range of software design approaches and UX patterns, while knowing when to use or avoid them
- The candidates should be able to assess and articulate the risks and benefits of relying on various front-end libraries, frameworks, and toolsets
- The candidates should be able to examine and modify the source code of front-end libraries to debug, patch, or enhance functionality
- The candidates should be able to apply view layout and rendering technologies, including responsiveness, progressive enhancement, and multi-device/browser support
- The candidates should be able to communicate clearly and effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- The candidates should be able to demonstrate alignment with Amazon’s leadership principles, meet or exceed Amazon’s expectations for functional and technical depth and complexity in this role
