Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have completion of post-secondary education
Experience: Candidates should have a few years of comparable work experience, ideally within a manufacturing environment
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should have a personable demeanor with a knack for communication, be progressive leaders
- The candidates should be team players, be system savvy and very comfortable with using Microsoft Office tools
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to act as a champion for company culture and lead the operations team in creating and maintaining a positive and productive environment aligned with Leadership Values
- The candidates should be able to work closely with team members to deliver winning results and meet both daily and weekly production schedules
- The candidates should be able to participate in on-site audits for FSQA, Health & Safety, and Human Resources requirements
- The candidates should be able to resolve employee issues through counselling sessions, investigations, or grievance meetings
- The candidates should be able to actively participate in daily team meetings, collaborate with cross-functional teams such as FSQA, Reliability, Sanitation, Materials, Finance, and Human Resources
- The candidates should be able to foster positive employee relationships by treating all employees with respect, listening to concerns, and providing timely responses
- The candidates should be able to facilitate safety talks and task observations to support continuous improvement initiatives
- The candidates should be able to perform administrative duties such as payroll, scheduling, and preparing shift reports
